We have, agreeable thereto, as the above plan represents, to wit: Lying on the south side of Naughuntea [Nahunta] Swamp Beginning at a small black gum on the Run of DURDEN's Branch and runs N 77 E 146 poles to a Sassafras steak in the SHERROD's line; then S 302 poles to a small dogwood; then N 89 W 132 poles to a post oak; then N 224 poles to a poplar on The run of DURDEN's Branch; then down the Run of said branch has it meanders to the first station. Containing 236 3/4 acres it being one third part of the land the said ROBERT BRYAN died seized and possessed of all of which we, the jurors, have set off to her thus said ELIZABETH BRYAN during her natural lifetime. And testimony whereof we have set our hands and seals this 16th day of December 1824. Your petitioners for the show that they are next of Ken and heirs at law of the said ROBERT BRYAN deceased and are entitled to equal shares in the said land. That ROBERT BRYAN late of the county of Wayne departed this life sometime in the month of June last past possessed among other personal property of a Negro man named LEVI and that Administration on his estate was at August term 1824 granted to JAMES BRYAN, and leaving your petitioners the said ELIZABETH BRYAN his widow and the following children to wit: BENNET BRYAN, MARGARET now the wife of MILES RADFORD, SIMPSON, HEPZEY, ZILPHA, WILLIAM and SARAH BRYAN who are entitled to distribution of his estate. Which payment well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally firmly by these presents. D. 1824 THE CONDITION OF THE ABOVE OBLIGATION is such that if the above bounden JAMES BRYAN administrator of all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits of ROBERT BRYAN deceased, do make, or cause to be made, a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods, chattels, rights and credits of the deceased, which have or shall come to the hands, knowledge or possession of the said JAMES BRYAN unto the hands or possession of any person or persons, for him and the same so made, do exhibit, or cause to be exhibited, to the court of the county aforesaid, within 90 days from the date of these presents, and the same goods, chattels and credits, and all the other goods, chattels and credits of the deceased, at the time of his death, or which at any time Hereafter shall come into the hands or possession of the JAMES BRYAN or into the hands or possession of any person, or persons, for him do well and truly administer according to law, and further do make or cause to be made a true and just account of all said Administration within two years after the date of these presents, and all the rest and residue of the said Goods, chattel and credits which shall be found remaining upon the said administrator account, the same being first examined and allowed by the court of the said County, shall deliver and pay on to such person or persons, respectively, to which the same shall do, pursuant to the true intent and meaning of the act and that case made and provided, and if it shall appear that any will or Testament was made by the said deceased, and the executor there in named do exhibit the same and Court, making request to have the same allowed and approved accordingly, if the saint said JAMES BRYAN above bounden, being thereunto required, do render the set letters of administration, ( approbation of such Testament, being first had and made in the said Court) send this obligation to be void and of no effect, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
