F. PERRY security are held and firmly bound and obliged on to The Honorable FRANCIS A. KIRBY ordinary of said County for the time being acting as a court of ordinary in the sum of $6,000 to be paid to the said FRANCIS A. KIRBY successors an office or a signs for which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves jointly and severally and each of our heirs executors and administrators firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated at Summerville the 4th day of April in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty three The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound administrator of the goods chattels and credits of AUGUSTUS N. BRYANT deceased to make a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased which have or shall come to the hands, possession or knowledge of the said MARY BRYANT and JONAS MCCLUNG temporary administrators of said deceased or into the hands for possession of any other person or persons for him and the same so made do exhibit into the said part of ordinary when they shall be thereunto required and such goods, chattels, credits do well and truly administer according to law and to make a just and true account of their actings and doings there on when required by the superior court for register of probate for the county and all the rest of the goods chattels and credits with shall be found remaining up on the account of the said administration the same being first allowed by the said court shall deliver and pay to such persons, respectively, as are entitled to the same by law and if it shall hereafter appear that any last will and testament was made by the deceased and the same be proven before the court and the executor obtain a certificate of the probate thereof and the said MARY BRYANT and JONAS MCCLUNG temporary administrators aforesaid do in such case if required render and deliver of the sent letters of administration than this obligation to be void else remain in full force. BRYANT late of said County deceased died intestate and whereas it is further represented to me that the said AUGUSTUS N. BRYANT at the time of his death was possessed with considerable personal and real estate whereas it is further represented to me that there is great danger of waste of said estate for the want of due and legal Administration being had in the same and whereas by the statutes of this state the court of ordinary has the power of granting temporary letters of administration and no all men to whom these presents shall be made known that I FRANCIS A. KIRBY ordinary of the said County have this day appointed you MARY BRYANT and JONAS MCCLUNG administrators of all and singular the goods chattels rights credits land and tenements so far as to control the same until permanent letters of administration shall be issued and you MARY BRYANT and JONAS MCCLUNG will take into your hands all the real and personal effects of said deceased and that you do make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory and appraisement of all and singular the goods and chattels lands and tenements rights and credits of said deceased and the same so made you return on or before the first Monday in May next given under my hand and seal this day in open court April 4th 1853 FRANCIS A. BRYANT deceased wheresoever any of the goods or chapels of the deceased are or to remain within the sad parts or places and which shall be shown unto you by The said MARY BRYANT and JONAS MCCLUNG and there view and appraise all and every the said goods and chattels being first sworn on the holy evangelist of almighty God to make a true and perfect inventory and appraisement thereof and to cause the same to be returned under your hands or any three or more of you to the said FRANCIS A.
