                             YORK SHERIFF’S SALES

BY Virtue of Writs of Fieri Facias, to me directed, will he sold between the
legal hours of Sheriff's Sale, ON THE first MONDAY IN DECEMBER NEXT,

By virtue of an order from the Court of Ordinary of York District. I will sell
on the first Monday in December next, a tract of land bounding on lands of
SAMUEL WRIGHT, EDWARD LEECH and H. H. THOMPSON, containing eighty and one-half
acres; sold to make partition among the heirs-at-law of RHODA SMITH. deceased.

By virtue of an order from the Court of Ordinary of York District, I will sell
at York Court House on the first Monday in December next, a tract of land,
bounding on lands of ALEXANDER HOFF, — PURSELEY's land, R. M. ROARK, and lands
formerly belonging to HENRY CLARK, containing — acres, more or less; sold to
make partition among the heirs-at-law of JAMES MULLENAX, deceased.

By virtue of on order from the Court of Ordinary of York District. I will sell
at York C. House. on the first Monday in December next a tract of land
bounding on lands of widow GUNTHARP. H. R. HOUSER and others, containing
eighty five and a half acres. Also. another tract bounding on lands of
JOHNSTON GOFORTH, CHARLES HOPPER and widow GUNTHARP and others, containing 91¾
acres - sold to make partition among the heirs-at-law of THOMAS BRIDGES,
deceased.

One tract of land bounding on lands of WILLIAM A. LATTA. CHARLES WILKENSON. N.
ROBERTS, JAMES POOL and others. Also, one buggy and harness, levied on as the
property of GEORGE S. DOSTER, at the suit of J. B. WITHERS, Survivor. and
others.

One tract of land whereon HENRY RATAREE resides, and bounding on lands of
Capt. SAMUEL ANDERSON, JAMES SMITH and others, levied on as the property of J.
R. WESTBROOK, at the suit of Mills & Co., and others.

One tract of land whereon JAMES RHEA resided, at the time of his death, levied
on as his property, at the suit of R. T. ALLISON and others vs A. R. MCCAY,
Administrator of JAMES RHEA, deceased.

One tract of land whereon the defendant resided at the time of his death,
bounding on lands of THOMAS T. GWINN. JEPTHA GWINN. WILLIAM ROBINSON and
others, levied on as the property of ROBERT ROBINSON, at the suit of THOMAS T.
GWINN and others.

Two houses and lots in Yorkville situated on the Lincoln road, bounding on
land of RICHARD HARE and others. levied on as the property of H. H. WHITENER,
at the suit of G. B. RATCHFORD.

One tract of land whereon the defendant now resides, bounding on lands of
JAMES R. ROBINSON. and DICKSON MCKNIGHT. Also one other tract, known as the
"MCCLERKIN place." and bounding on leads of JOHN MCKNIGHT, WILLIAM GUNN,
DICKSON MCKNIGHT and others, levied on as the property of Dr. JOHN HALL, at
the suit of JOHN ROSS and others.

One negro man BERRY, levied on as the property of JAMES MEEK, at the suit of
JOHN F. BRIAN & JAMES A. GASTON, Administrators and others.

One house and lot in Yorkville situated on the MASON's Ferry Road. and
bounding on lots of ROBERT MENDENHALL, B. A. CRENSHAW. and whereon Mrs.
ASHCROFT now lives, levied on as the property of JOHN A. KINCAID, at the suit
of the State for taxes. Also at the suit of JAMES FINLEY.

Three negroes, viz: SUE and her two children, ELLEN and JOHN, levied on as the
property of W. S. DUNLAP, at the suit of Roddy & Co. and others.

One tract of land whereon the defendant now resides. levied on as the property
of VIOLET SMITH, at the suit of JOHN ROSS.

One tract of land whereon the defendant now resides, levied on as the property
of JOSEPH HETHERINGTON, at the suit of JOSEPH HERNDON and others.

One tract of land whereon defendant now lives, bounding on lands of S. G.
WESTBROOK, H. H. DRENNAN and others. Also one other tract bounding on lands
of DANIEL WILLIAMS, together with the mills situated thereon. Also six
negroes. viz: BILL, CHARLES, AMANDA, BEN, MAY and GREEN, levied on as the
property of J. N. MCELWEE, Jr., at the suit of WILLIAM CALDWELL and others.

One tract of land whereon the defendant now resides. levied on as the property
of CLEMMY MOSS, at the suit of the State for taxes and others.
