Another soldier of the Revolution has gone to receive his bright reward. Departed this life on 31 January 1842, in his residence in Wilkes County, North Carolina. John Bryan, Esq., in the 89th year of his age, after being confined to his bed for about two weeks with the influenza. Subject of this notice was a native of Ireland he immigrated in childhood with his parents to America and settled in Pennsylvania, near the Maryland line.
