(photo) Flint Hill Baptist Church is among the oldest congregations in Fort Mill. It was established originally as Sugar Creek Baptist Church of Christ in 1792 by Rev John Rooker, his wife, Anna, and 11 friends. The structure in this photograph dates to 1855, The church takes its name from an outcropping of flint rock on its property.
