I do hereby certify for HUGH MCWHIRTER [MCWHORTER] a tract of land containing sixty
nine [69] acres surveyed for him the first day of July 1812 situate in the district
of York on a branch of Allison’s Creek, waters of the Catawba River, bounded SE &
SW by said MCWHIRTER’s and JOHN MCCARTER’s land, SE by JAMES ADAMS’ land, NE & NW
by JOSEPH SMITH’s old survey and hath such form and marks as the above plat
represents.

Given under my hand this 7th of August, 1812.
