Deed, SC, Pendleton, JOHN BRYANT to SIMON BRYANT, 1827 State of South Carolina KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I, JOHN BRYANT, of Pendleton District in the state aforesaid planter, in consideration of the sum of $190 to me paid by SIMON BRYANT of the same district in the state aforesaid, planter, have granted, bargained, sold, and released and by these presents to grant, bargain, sell, and release onto the said SIMON BRYANT all that plantation, tract, or parcel of land situate, lying, and being in the district and state aforesaid, on the waters of Big Beaver Dam Creek, Waters of Rocky river, containing 150 acres, more or less, and having such boundaries, lines, marks, and buttings as are set forth in a deed of conveyance made by JOHN BRYANT to JOHN BRYANT Sr. dated the 1st of February in the year of Our Lord 1,817 and recorded in the office of the Register of ??? conveyance for Pendleton District, Book N Page 88, and reference for a more full showing is thereto made. TOGETHER with all and singular the rights, members, hereditaments, and appurtenances to the said premises belonging or in anywise incident or appertaining. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all and singular the premises before mentioned unto the said SIMON BRYANT, his heirs and assigns forever. AND I do hereby bind myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said premises on to the said SIMON BRYANT, his heirs and assigns, against myself, my heirs and against every other person or persons wherever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof. WITNESS my hand and seal this 8th day of December in the year of Our Lord 1827 and in the 51st year of the Independence of the United States of America.
