Deed, SC, Greenville, JACOB KYTLE to CHARLES GOSNELL, 1814

This indenture May 18th day of August in the year of Our Lord 1814.

BETWEEN JACOB KYTLE of the state of South Carolina and Greenville District of the
one part and CHARLES GOSNEL [GOSNELL] of the state and district aforesaid of the
other part.

WITNESSETH that I, JACOB KYTLE, for and in consideration of the sum of $100 to him
in hand paid by the said CHARLES GOSNEL.

WITNESSETH that the said JACOB KYTLE, of the state and district aforesaid, have
granted, bargain, sold, and delivered and by these presents do grant, bargain,
sell, and deliver unto the said CHARLES GOSNEL a certain tract or parcel of land
situate, lying, and being in the state and District aforesaid on the branches of
the South Pacolet.

    Beginning at a hickory; thence N20E 35.5 chains to a chestnut; thence
    N61E 8.5 chains to a dogwood; thence N25W 25.5 chains to a red oak;
    thence N10W 39.5 chains to a hickory; thence S20W 26 chains to a red oak;
    thence S25E 20 chains; thence S30W 32 chains to a red oak; thence an
    offset of about 5 chains near the SE course to a chestnut; thence S82E 15
    chains to a locust; thence S80E 29.3 to the beginning Hickory corner.

CONTAINING 280 Acres be the same more or less with all and singular the rights and
premises to the same belonging, to have and to hold unto the said CHARLES GOSNEL
his heirs and assigns forever.

And I, the said JACOB KYTLE do hereby bind myself, my heirs and assigns to warrant
and forever defend all and singular the rights and premises under the said CHARLES
GOSNEL, his heirs and assigns, against myself, my heirs and assigns and from all
and every person or persons whatsoever lawfully claiming the same or any part
thereof.

Personally came ABNER CENTER and made oath that he was present and saw JACOB KYTLE
sign and deliver the within deed to CHARLES GOSNELL and that JESSE CENTER was a
subscribing witness with him to the execution of the same.
