Deed, SC, Fairfield, MATTHEW MCCREIGHT to WILLIAM BRYANT, 1795

The State of South Carolina

KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I, MATTHEW MCCREIGHT, of Fairfield County and
state aforesaid, for and in consideration of £15 to me paid, for and in
consideration, by WILLIAM BRYANT of the county and State aforesaid planter, have
granted, bargained, sold and released and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell
and release unto the said WILLIAM BRYANT all that Plantation or tract of land
containing 122 Acres situated in Fork of Dutchman's Creek bounded by the land
formerly belonging to JAMES HARDAGE, NATHANIEL FORD, JAMES PORTER, and THOMAS
MEREDITH and hath such form and shape as appears by a plat annexed to the original
grant. Together with all and singular the rights, members, hereditaments, and
appurtenances to the said premises belonging or in any wise incident or
appertaining.

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all and singular the premises before mentioned unto the said
WILLIAM BRYANT, his heirs and assigns, forever.

AND I DO HEREBY bind myself, my heirs, executors, administrators to warrant and
forever defend all and singular the said premises unto the said WILLIAM BRYANT, his
heirs and assigns, myself and my heirs and against every person whomsoever lawfully
claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.

Witness my hand and seal this 15th day of November in the year of Our Lord 1795 and
in the 19th year of American independence.
