By Virtue of a precept to me directed by JOHN TROUP, Esqr. Deputy Surveyor General
bearing date July 15th 1767, I have admeasured and laid out a plantation tract of
land to JAMES LAWFIN containing 150 acres situate, lying and being in Berkeley
County on a branch of Little River called Carson’s branch bounded on all sides by
vacant land and hath such shape, form, and marks as a plat above doth represent.

Certified for this 15th day of October 1767 per me,
