Deed, NY, Clinton, GODFREY CORNWELL to EDMOND SOPER, 1835

THIS INDENTURE made the 17th day of November in the year of Our Lord 1835.

BETWEEN GODFREY CORNWELL of the town of Peru County of Clinton state of New York of
the first part and EDMOND SOPER [EDMUND] of the Town and County and state of four
said of the second part.

WITNESSETH that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the
sum of $100 to me in hand paid, money of account of the United States of America,
in hand paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby
confessed and acknowledged, have bargained, sold, revised, quit claimed and by
these presents doth bargain, sell, remise, and quit claim unto the said party of
the second part, in his actual possession now being, and to his heirs and assigns
forever all that equal undivided half of Lot No. 6 in the old military tract,
township No. 3, bounded north by Lot No. 10 in township No. 4, east by LIVINGSTON's
Gore or PEASLEE’s Gore, south by Lot No. 14, West by Lot No. 5 doth quit claim all
his right, title, interest or claim to the said one equal undivided half of the
said premises.

TOGETHER with all and singular the hereditaments and apartments is therein to
belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversion and reversions, remainder
and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof. And also all the estate, right,
title, interest, claim or demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part
either in law or equity of, in, and two the above bargained premises and every part
and parcel thereof to the said party of the second part, heirs and assigns, to the
soul and only proper use, benefit, and behoof of the part said party of the second
part, heirs and assigns forever.

The said party of the first part here and to set hand and seal the day and year
first above written.

on the 23rd day of November 1,835 before me SELUCIA ELMORE a commissioner of deeds
and said County.

Personally appeared BENTLEY R. SHERMAN of the town of Peru County and state
aforesaid, to me known, and who being sworn deposed and saith that he knew and saw
GODFREY CORNWELL subscribe his name to the within deed for the uses and purposes
therein contained. Also that he, the said BENTLEY R. SHERMAN, was called as a
witness in the at the time and did subscribe his name thereto as a witness, which
is to me satisfactory evidence of the fact all of which I do certify and allow to
be recorded.
