Died on Friday night last, at the residence of his grandfather, JAMES BRIAN, Esq., MONROE BUTLER, son of JAMES T. BUTLER and ELIZABETH BRIAN, aged about 11 years. In Madison county, Mississippi, on the 15th instant, Mrs. ELIZABETH DINKINS, consort of Mr. LEWIS DINKINS. Issue of October 14, 1858 Married in Yorkville, on Thursday last, 7th instant, by Rev. J. M. H. ADAMS, Mr. E. PEYTON MOORE and Miss LIZZIE NEELY, all of this place. Died on the 12th of September, in York District, S. C., Dr. SAMUEL WRIGHT, in the 55th year of his age ... member of the Presbyterian Church. The last time he was permitted to attend the sanctuary he dedicated his little daughter PERLA to the service of God in baptism.... In Chester District of Quincy, on the 27th ult., WILLIAM ALEXANDER, son of SAMUEL J. and MARY J. HEMPHILL, formerly of York District, aged 3 years, five months and twelve days. In Shelby county, Alabama, on the 1st instant, of congestive fever, Mr. ROBERT MCLELLAND, formerly of York District. In this District, on the 24th ult., Mrs. MARY MCWHORTER, aged 98 years. HILL, aged 2 years, 3 months and one day. October 5th, at the residence of WILLIAM G. BECKWITH, Esq., Pratville, Ala., Professor JOSIAH HARRIS, in the 63d year of his age. He was a native of York District, a graduate of Hamden Sidney College and of the Theological Seminary of Virginia. Issue of November 11, 1858 Married at the residence of Dr. J. W. TRACY, in Cleveland County, N. C., on the 2d instant, by Rev. JAMES D. HALL, Dr. J. L. NEAGLE of Gaston county, N. C., and Miss M. LOVE STOWE, of Cedar Springs, Spartanburg District, S. C. In Columbia, on the 3d instant, by Rev. J. M. PRINGLE, Dr. J. BENNETTSVILLE, to Miss SALLIE A. MCCULLY, of J. B. former place. Issue of November 25, 1858 Wednesday morning last, Mr. JAMES STRAIN, a citizen of the Indian Land, committed suicide ... about 55 years of age ... leaves a wife and large family.
