Know ye, that we, have granted unto JAMES WOODWARD twenty five acres of land in
Wake County, on the waters of Camp Branch, joining the lines of TIMOTHY THORP,
AUGUSTUS TURNER, and his own lines:

       Beginning at a Pine, his own corner; thence north fifty seven pole to a
       Post Oak in AUGUSTUS TURNER’s line, thence west seventy pole to a Black
       Jack; thence south fifty seven pole to a Hickory; thence to the
       beginning. Entered 20th February 1804. To hold unto the said JAMES
       WOODWARD, his heirs and assigns forever.

Dated 22nd May 1806.

Know ye, that we, have granted unto AUGUSTUS TURNER sixteen acres of land in Wake
County, on the waters of Middle Creek on the north side, joining the lines of JESSE
JONES, WILLIAM UTLEY and his own lines.

       Beginning at a Post Oak his own corner; thence east twenty two poles to a
       Pine, JESSE JONES’ corner; thence north two hundred and forty pole to a
       Pine, formerly a Post Oak his other corner; thence to the beginning.

Entered 6th December 1804. To hold to the said AUGUSTUS TURNER, his heirs and
assigns forever. Dated 22nd May 1806.

Know ye, that we, have granted unto CORBELL WOODWARD one hundred and thirty five
and a half acres of land in Wake County, on the waters of Middle Creek.

       Beginning at a Poplar; thence west one hundred and fifty four poles to a
       Pine in THOMAS DRIVER’s line, PLEASANT WOODWARD’s corner; thence north
       one hundred and forty one pole with said WOODWARD’s line to an Ash;
       thence east with his own line one hundred and fifty four pole to a stake;
       thence to the first station.

Entered 17th of November 1801. To hold unto the said CORBELL WOODWARD, his heirs
and assigns forever. Dated 27th June 1806.

Oak; thence north one hundred and eighty two pole to a Post Oak, his own corner;
thence north thirty pole to two Pines, said WOODWARD’s other corner; thence to the
first station.

Entered 17th November 1801. To hold to the said CORBELL WOODWARD, his heirs and
assigns forever. Dated 27th June, 1806.
