Codicil, SC, Spartanburg, Thomas Brian 1871 South Carolina ] Spartanburg County ] Codicil to Will of ] 22-Jan-1871 THOMAS BRIAN ] In the name of God, Amen I THOMAS BRIAN of the State and County aforesaid, Having on the 5th day of January 1871 made and executed my last Will and Testament, do make this Codicil in addition there to, and to be a part and parcel there of (viz). That if the Title to any of the legacies bequeathed in said Will and Testament, or any portion of any of said bequests should be lost for want of Title, or on account of the want of good and sufficient Title. Then it is my Will that said loss or losses shall be made up to the legatee or legatees so loosing not of the body of my Estate. In Witness where of I here unto set my hand and seal.
